Dr. Amita Fakhimi is a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. She has an immense, genuine passion for therapy and her patients. Her devotion is evidenced by her extensive academic and professional work history. She is dually licensed as a Clinical Psychologist and Marriage & Family Therapist, a rarity in the field.
Dr. Fakhimi is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment and hopes to be a vessel for change for her clients, patients, so they can live a happier and healthier lifestyle.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Fakhimi's experience ranges from providing assessments, working with individuals struggling with relational issues, anxiety and depression, to working with couples who are experiencing difficulty in their relationship. She also specializes in working with those suffering from professional burnout, struggling with substance use disorders and a variety of addictions.
SPECIALTIES
Dr. Fakhimi provides Diagnostic assessments to evaluate for psychological issues arising out of injury, including but not limited to: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Mood Disorder due to Injury/Pain, and Insomnia/Sleep Disorders.
